Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages with precision and artistry
- Engage warmly with customers, remembering preferences and building relationships
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently while processing payments accurately
- Collaborate with team to create daily specials and seasonal promotions
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of coffee and supplies
- Adhere to food safety standards and company protocols consistently
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional coffee experience required
- Expert knowledge of espresso brewing techniques and milk steaming
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for coffee and continuous learning about brewing methods
