Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines and manual brewing techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and warm hospitality
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of coffee station, equipment, and customer areas
- Process transactions accurately through POS systems while upselling products
- Support inventory management including stocking, rotation, and waste reduction
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless daily operations
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Participate in monthly coffee tastings and training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso mastery
- Proven ability to work efficiently during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for customer engagement
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs regularly
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of specialty coffee brewing methods preferred
- Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain
