Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Manage POS transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Curate and maintain a pristine café environment, including inventory management and sanitation
- Collaborate with team members to develop seasonal menus and promotional campaigns
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques, product knowledge, and service standards
- Engage with the local community through events and social media initiatives
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience with expertise in espresso preparation
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak hours
- Strong attention to detail in presentation, cleanliness, and inventory management
- Basic POS system proficiency and cash handling experience
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
