Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using modern POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service through greeting, assistance, and problem resolution
- Operate cash registers, handle cash, and maintain accurate cash drawer accountability
- Scan, bag, and merchandise products while maintaining organized checkout stations
- Assist with inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store appearance
- Process returns/exchanges according to company policies and procedures
- Adhere to all safety protocols and loss prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months cash handling or customer service experience
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash/credit transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong communication skills and approachable personality
- Reliable transportation to work shifts including evenings/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems or willingness to learn quickly
