Responsibilities
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-ins/outs, renewals, and account management
- Provide exceptional reference assistance to patrons using digital and print resources
- Organize and maintain library collections through accurate shelving and inventory
- Facilitate engaging community programs and outreach events
- Assist with technical support for public computers and digital resources
- Process new materials and maintain catalog records
- Support interlibrary loan services and database management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; library science coursework preferred
- Proven customer service experience with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in library systems (ILS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings/weekends
- Basic troubleshooting skills for public technology
- Valid Arizona driver's license (for outreach duties)
