Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and assist with product selection.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining strict accuracy.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, inventory, and store policies.
- Keep the checkout area and sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Assist in inventory management and stocking shelves as needed.
- Build rapport with regular customers to enhance the shopping experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
