Responsibilities
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Scan, bag, and organize merchandise with accuracy and speed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Handle cash deposits and reconcile daily sales reports accurately.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate objects (up to 25 lbs).
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
