Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care assistance during evening hours (5-10 PM)
- Accurately document patient vitals and care activities in electronic health records
- Coordinate with day-shift staff for seamless patient continuity of care
- Assist with patient mobility, medication reminders, and daily living activities
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
- Complete daily shift reports and handoff documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and flexible evening availability
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Background check and drug screening required
