Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages using premium single-origin beans
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warm, personalized interactions
- Operate POS systems, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling
- Ensure impeccable cleanliness and sanitation of all coffee equipment and service areas
- Collaborate with team to create innovative seasonal drink menus
- Source and showcase local pastries and artisanal food products
- Participate in regular training sessions to refine coffee techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional barista experience with proven espresso mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic food handling certification (ServSafe preferred)
- Proficiency with modern POS systems and inventory management
