Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Status: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes throughout the shift.
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including charting medical history, treatments, and changes in condition.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code blue situations, utilizing advanced life support skills as required.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-care management.
Qualifications
- License: Current and active RN license issued by the Missouri Board of Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work evening shifts and weekends on a rotating schedule.
- CPR Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
