Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with product inquiries and selections during peak hours.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, accurately processing transactions and managing returns.
- Maintain store organization by stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in the receiving and organization of new stock deliveries.
- Ensure the sales floor and restrooms are clean, safe, and compliant with company health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Must be available to work a minimum of 12-20 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with computer systems or POS terminals.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as required by the role.
