Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding schedule changes and delays.
- Utilize logistics software to update shipment status and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping documents and compliance logs.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize daily workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management systems).
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
