Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and triage urgent calls during evening/weekend shifts
- Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Assist with clinical procedures under provider supervision
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
- Provide telehealth support to remote patients
- Collaborate with on-call providers for urgent care coordination
- Facilitate seamless handoffs between day and night shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience in a clinical setting
- Strong proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Flexibility to cover variable evening/weekend schedules
