Responsibilities
- Receiving & Inspection: Check incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, ensuring proper documentation is processed.
- Inventory Management: Stock inventory accurately using handheld scanners and maintain organized storage areas.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily targets.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift supervisors to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Driving: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management software quickly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
