Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor techniques.
- Inventory Management: Scan items accurately using handheld scanners and update inventory systems in real-time.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily productivity targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work area to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work evening shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and ensure accuracy in data entry and inventory counts.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
