Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, clients, and vendors arriving at our Portland facility.
- Front Desk Management: Manage incoming calls, screen and redirect inquiries, and take accurate messages.
- Access Control: Verify visitor credentials, issue badges, and maintain a secure check-in/check-out log.
- Administrative Support: Handle incoming mail, distribute packages, and assist with basic data entry and filing tasks.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor building security systems, ensure common areas are tidy, and coordinate with building management for maintenance requests.
- Event Coordination: Assist in setting up meeting rooms for evening events and ensuring audio-visual equipment is functioning correctly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a customer service role is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (typically 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM) and some weekends.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new scheduling or CRM software.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Reliability: Punctual, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
