- Schedule patient appointments and manage electronic health records with precision
- Handle inbound/outbound communications regarding insurance verification and billing inquiries
- Process patient registrations and maintain confidential information securely
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient flow and care continuity
- Resolve patient concerns with empathy and problem-solving excellence
- Utilize EHR systems to maintain accurate documentation
- Support evening clinic operations and assist with administrative tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification preferred
- 1+ years customer service or administrative experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner a plus)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
