Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Accurately measure vital signs and document patient histories
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and EKGs as directed
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification
- Assist with electronic health record (EHR) management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Evening/weekend availability (4:00 PM - 11:00 PM shifts)
- Basic EHR proficiency (eClinicalWorks/Meditech preferred)
