- Manage patient intake, registration, and insurance verification during evening/weekend hours
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist providers with clinical support tasks including specimen collection and basic vitals
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and secure messaging systems
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless care continuity
- Support facility operations during after-hours including inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (medical certificate preferred)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or customer service experience
- Strong computer skills with EMR/EHR system proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
