Responsibilities
- Provide attentive table service during evening shifts (5 PM - 11 PM)
- Expertly explain menu items, wine selections, and daily specials
- Process orders accurately through POS system and manage payment transactions
- Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and bar teams for flawless execution
- Maintain pristine table settings and cleanliness throughout dining area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism
- Contribute to opening/closing duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year fine dining or high-volume restaurant experience
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of wine service and cocktail preparation preferred
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must be 21+ for alcohol service compliance
- Valid DC work authorization required
