Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs during evening hours using advanced medical equipment
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following strict protocols
- Provide direct patient care assistance including mobility support and hygiene
- Collaborate with night-shift nursing staff on patient assessment and care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with real-time updates
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and rapid intervention
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless patient care transitions
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital or long-term care setting
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to maintain throughout employment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Availability to work 4-8 hour shifts between 5 PM - 7 AM (weekends optional)
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
