Responsibilities
- Perform patient vital signs and prepare examination rooms
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and documentation
- Manage patient intake and electronic health records (EHR)
- Administer injections and collect lab specimens
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient education and appointment scheduling
- Handle insurance verification and billing support
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible evening shifts (4-8 PM)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Basic phlebotomy and EKG certification
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
