- Greet and welcome customers warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions and handle payments.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing product knowledge, and answering inquiries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockrooms, and restrooms.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
