Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, credit, and digital transactions efficiently.
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone or email and provide accurate information regarding products and services.
- Maintain the sales floor to company standards, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and the area is clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to restock inventory and handle merchandise transfers as needed.
- Process returns, exchanges, and manage customer accounts with precision and care.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (current students are encouraged to apply).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required for this entry-level position.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer groups.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work flexible evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
