Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions and handling cash or card payments.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock needs to be replenished.
- Process returns and exchanges efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Assist with special promotions and events as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
