Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures during evening shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer injections and medications per physician protocols
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods during evening shifts
- Flexibility to work evenings (3 PM - 11 PM) and occasional weekends
- Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management
