Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through personalized beverage recommendations and warm interactions
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, pastries, and seasonal menu items with precision
- Operate POS systems efficiently while handling cash transactions and digital payments
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of service areas, equipment, and customer seating zones
- Collaborate with closing team to ensure smooth transition during evening rush hours
- Support inventory management and stock rotation for evening operations
- Adhere to all food safety protocols and Seattle Public Health regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in food service, hospitality, or customer-facing role
- Availability to work evenings (4 PM - 11 PM) weekends required
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and specialty beverage preparation
- Strong cash handling accuracy and POS system proficiency
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
- Excellent communication skills with diverse customer demographics
- Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain within 30 days
