Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm and professional greeting to all customers entering the store.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit cards, and returns efficiently.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor throughout your shift.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts, stocking shelves, and ensuring product displays are up to date.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: A consistent work history and punctuality are essential.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor.
