Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, credit, and digital payments with precision.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges efficiently and professionally.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and checkout area.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare accurate daily reports.
- Cross-train in other areas of the store, including stocking and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to wear company-provided uniform and use provided equipment.
