Responsibilities
- Stocking & Shelving: Receive, unpack, and stock incoming merchandise onto shelves according to company safety and organization standards.
- Inventory Accuracy: Utilize handheld scanning devices to maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies immediately.
- FIFO Management: Rotate stock to ensure the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) protocol is strictly followed, ensuring product freshness.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas.
- Shipment Prep: Assist in the preparation of outgoing shipments and the breaking down of pallets efficiently.
- Customer Focus: Ensure products are displayed attractively to meet customer expectations and drive sales.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM).
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning items and organizing stock.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic addition and subtraction for inventory counts.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history preferred.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
