Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading: Safely unload delivery trucks and organize incoming stock onto pallets.
- Inventory Organization: Stock shelves, racks, and storage areas with accuracy and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect merchandise for damage or defects before stocking.
- Stock Rotation: Ensure older inventory is moved to the front and new stock is placed correctly.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Shift Execution: Complete all stocking duties before the start of business hours.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and maintain high inventory accuracy.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or retail setting is preferred.
