Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack incoming merchandise, verifying against purchase orders and invoices.
- Stock shelves and display areas with accuracy, efficiency, and visual appeal.
- Rotate stock to ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols and product freshness.
- Organize the stockroom and backroom to maximize space utilization and streamline retrieval.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and report discrepancies to the management team.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness and ability to work early morning shifts (e.g., 3:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counts and pricing adjustments.
- Reliable transportation to the Chula Vista facility.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
