Responsibilities
- Stocking & Shelving: Efficiently receive, organize, and stock merchandise on shelves to ensure optimal display and availability.
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating stock levels in the system.
- Merchandising: Ensure products are rotated, priced correctly, and presented according to company standards and visual guidelines.
- Stockroom Maintenance: Keep the stockroom organized, clean, and safe by promptly removing debris and organizing pallets.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, forklifts, and handheld scanners as required.
- Customer Support: Assist customers with locating items and provide a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor for shrinkage and report any discrepancies or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (4:00 AM - 1:00 PM) including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and consistent work history.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to organize and manage inventory with high precision.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail stocking or warehouse environments is preferred but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
