The Role
As a Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have access to the products they need when they need them. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, organizing the sales floor, and creating a welcoming shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Restock merchandise on shelves and displays to ensure product availability and visual appeal.
- Organize and rotate inventory to adhere to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards.
- Assist with unloading deliveries and transporting stock to the sales floor using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Monitor stock levels and alert management when inventory needs replenishment.
- Ensure pricing accuracy on shelves and tags.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily goals and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to work early morning shifts (typically 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM start times).
- Basic math skills for price checks and inventory counting.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for shift changes).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or stocking experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
