Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays according to company standards and planograms.
- Rotate inventory regularly to ensure older stock is sold first.
- Organize backroom storage areas and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Assist in the preparation of the store for opening by setting up signage and displays.
- Operate basic material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks, as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts (typically 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and price checks.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous retail or warehouse stocking experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
