Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential and park settings (1-4 dogs per group)
- Administer medications as required with proper documentation
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet parents via our app
- Maintain detailed activity logs and health observations
- Practice safe handling and leash techniques for all breeds
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all outings
- Build rapport with clients through exceptional communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking/pet care experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with data plan
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
