Responsibilities
- Safely walk and monitor dogs of various breeds and sizes during scheduled outings
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, water refills, waste cleanup) as per client instructions
- Maintain detailed logs of each dog's behavior, activity, and health observations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and emergency procedures during all interactions
- Build trust with pets through positive reinforcement and gentle handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding scheduling and service details
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if transporting pets)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk for extended periods in varying weather
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills for animal behavior
- Excellent time management and punctuality for scheduled appointments
- Comfortable working independently while maintaining accountability
- Passion for animals and commitment to ethical pet care practices
- Availability for weekday and weekend shifts (mornings/evenings)
