Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (1-4 dogs) in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Provide real-time photo/video updates to pet owners via our mobile app
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, waste cleanup) during visits
- Maintain detailed logs of walks, behavior observations, and client preferences
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling dogs and navigating public spaces
- Build trust-based relationships with both pets and their owners
- Respond promptly to schedule changes and client requests
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to walk 3+ miles comfortably in varying weather conditions
- Experience with dogs preferred but not required (training provided)
- Strong communication skills and tech-savvy (smartphone proficiency)
- Flexible availability during mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to pet safety
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
