Responsibilities
- Safely leash, walk, and supervise dogs in various neighborhood settings
- Administer basic pet care (feeding, hydration, waste cleanup) during walks
- Document pet behavior and provide detailed owner reports via mobile app
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and transport vehicles
- Build trustful relationships with both pets and their owners
- Adhere to all safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Participate in monthly continuing education workshops
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with reliable transportation
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 25-30 lbs and walk 3-5 miles daily
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for reporting apps
- Proof of pet first aid/CPR certification (provided during training)
- Must be available weekdays and weekends (flexible shifts)
