Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously while maintaining control and ensuring their comfort
- Provide attentive care during walks including hydration, waste cleanup, and monitoring behavior
- Administer basic care (medications, feeding) as specified by pet owners
- Communicate effectively with owners via our mobile app with detailed walk reports and photos
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures during all interactions
- Maintain accurate client records and scheduling through our digital platform
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk dogs of various sizes (up to 80 lbs) in all weather conditions
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong communication skills and tech-savvy with mobile apps
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Passion for animal welfare and commitment to exceptional service
- Must live within 15 miles of Irvine, CA for local coverage
