Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in designated neighborhoods and parks while maintaining control
- Monitor pets for health, behavior, and environmental safety during outings
- Provide fresh water and ensure proper waste disposal during walks
- Document walk details, observations, and client communications accurately
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust with pet owners through consistent, reliable service
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance pet care skills
Qualifications
- No prior dog walking or professional pet care experience required
- Genuine passion for dogs and commitment to animal welfare
- Reliable transportation to client locations in Plano area
- Ability to walk 2-4 dogs simultaneously (training provided)
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for weekday/evening and weekend shifts
