Responsibilities
- Walk and Exercise: Safely walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments on set schedules to ensure physical health and mental stimulation.
- Pet Care: Provide fresh water and monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress during walks.
- Habit Cleaning: Always clean up after pets immediately to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Client Communication: Provide friendly updates and photos to pet parents regarding their dog's walk.
- Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while on the job.
- Equipment Management: Ensure leashes, bags, and other supplies are in good working order.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome first-time applicants and provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Love for Animals: Genuine passion for dogs and understanding of animal behavior.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and responsible with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 1-2 miles comfortably and handle energetic dogs.
- Valid Driver's License: Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
- Background Check: Must pass a basic background screening.
