Responsibilities
- Perform daily walking sessions for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they get the physical activity they need.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all pets during outings.
- Monitor pet behavior and health during walks, reporting any changes or concerns to the pet owner immediately.
- Collect and dispose of waste responsibly to maintain clean parks and neighborhoods.
- Provide basic pet first aid if necessary and ensure all equipment (leashes, harnesses) is secure.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of walk times, distances, and any notes regarding the pet's mood or health.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet parents.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pet care, dog walking, or a related field is preferred but not required; a genuine love for animals is essential.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between appointments.
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle dogs of all sizes and energy levels.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a full schedule efficiently.
- Clean background check and proof of vaccinations (e.g., Rabies for dogs handled).
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
