Responsibilities
- Safely leash-walk dogs in residential and park settings while maintaining control and positive reinforcement
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to pet parents promptly
- Administer basic care (water, treats) as specified in client instructions
- Use GPS tracking apps to document walking routes and provide photo updates
- Maintain clean equipment and sanitize leashes/water bowls between visits
- Adhere strictly to client preferences regarding routes, duration, and handling techniques
- Build trust through consistent, reliable service and clear communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and smartphone proficiency
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and walk in various weather conditions
- Trustworthy background check and clean driving record

- Availability on weekends and holidays (peak demand periods)
