Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise 4-6 dogs simultaneously in designated neighborhoods and parks
- Administer medications and provide specialized care as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of pet behavior, exercise duration, and notable observations
- Transport pets to veterinary appointments and grooming sessions
- Execute structured play activities and socialization training
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all outdoor excursions
- Communicate effectively with pet owners via daily photo/video updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog handling or walking experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of canine behavior and body language
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS capability
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
