Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated San Diego neighborhoods
- Provide fresh water, administer medications (with training), and ensure pet comfort
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and owner communication
- Clean up after pets and maintain walking equipment
- Adapt walks to weather conditions and pet needs
- Report any behavioral or health concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong reliability and punctuality record
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple pets
- Basic pet first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
