Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Handle cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation procedures.
- Assist in organizing promotional events and seasonal displays.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed.
