Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, markets, and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities by 2026
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Champion innovation culture through executive workshops and cross-functional futurist training programs
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing products and services
- Establish scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and technological disruptions
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor a team of strategic foresight analysts and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation strategy, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into enterprise-level strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, whitepapers)
- Experience building and managing global trend intelligence networks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, CFS) strongly preferred
