Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Provide exceptional customer service through product knowledge, problem-solving, and friendly interactions
- Operate scanning equipment, process returns/exchanges, and maintain organized checkout stations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages to department managers
- Uphold store security protocols and loss prevention standards
- Collaborate with team members to maintain clean, inviting shopping environments
- Participate in ongoing training to develop product knowledge and operational skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic math and computer literacy skills
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
