Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and balance the register at the end of each shift.
- Bag groceries or items and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cashier roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
